"Footsteps"
A film by Dany Nieves
Filmed in Decatur, Georgia in the spring of 2010.
Life lessons from those who care about our future. \"Footsteps\" is a journey through life with words of encouragement from our grandparents. It is how they see the world today and how they grew up to help make it a better place for us. Each voice has its own message and each person brings wisdom and love into our lives.
Coming in July, 2010.
Conversations with the residents of the City of Decatur and the Oakhurst District, a community rich in color and life lessons. The resilient soul begins with a single breath, and carries itself through all of the hardships we must face to become adults, and rise above failure.
About Dany Nieves:" I am a film maker in Decatur, GA. I finished producing a new documentary about our grandparents, and the life lessons they pass down to us. The film is called "Footsteps", and it is 2 hour documentary which allows the elderly to express their own views on the world as they see it now, and what lessons their grandparents left for them to grow with."
