Since time immemorial, humankind has been a staunch disciple of the power of prayers. Be it any faith in the slightest, one common thing that you might find in all these is the belief in prayer. Beginning from Christianity to Hinduism to Islam prayers binds them all in one belief. So what is it precisely that makes it one of the most typically assumed phenomenon?
Let us look at a few recent examples that prove the power of prayers in the world where religion and spiritualism are slowly losing ground and belief. Several saints of the Christians, Mother Teresa included, have performed miracles based on the power of prayers. This incident happened after the death of Mother Teresa. It is said that a firm believer in the miracle of Mother Teresa was suffering from the last stage of stomach cancer. Doctors had almost given up on her and the hope of her survival was extremely minimal. The lady however kept pleading to her family and friends to take her to meet Mother Teresa for it is only she who can cure her. Nevertheless, just about that time, Mother Teresa left the world. The believer, however, did not lose hope. She took to keeping a photograph of Mother Teresa under her pillow at all times and would sleep while hugging the photo. After a few days, the doctors noticed that she was feeling better. In order to check for the reasons, certain tests were done. To their utter astonishment, the cancer cells were almost non-existent. What is more, the lady had never taken any of the prescribed medicines. This was nothing short of a miracle and it had happened simply by the power of the prayers of the patient.
This is only one single example. The world is free-flowing with all of the miracles performed by numerous saints and figures simply thru the power of prayer. A few folks had their prayers answered and one or two others are at this time, still praying fervently.
Nowadays, even science has started believing in the power of prayers. Several surgeries now have complete praying sessions. The systematic approach behind the phenomenon is that praying helps release certain compound positive energy into the universe. When lots of this compounded energy gets into the universe, the positive energy of the universe starts pushing towards the reason for the prayer. It is like L. O. A. Positive convictions and thoughts will attract positive things around you. If you keep praying for a good life and trust in what you pray, good life will definitely come to you. One of the vital factors working behind this is that praying makes somebody more optimistic and positive. This helps more positive energy flow in the person and thus, with the L. O. A, great things follow shortly. It is better to follow religion even in most hopeless eventualities by praying.
With the power of prayers already being a longtime fact, even for non-believers, test the phenomenon of prayer at least one time. The propounding results will instantly prove the import of praying constantly.

Have you ever said to God, "Can I have a rain check?" Or "I am still busy pursuing my thing here. I will get back to you later."
Most of us are guilty of this.
We have placed god on the sidelines or on the shelf.
Growing up we were thought to pursue our careers. We seldom hear people telling us to pursue our vocation. "Be a good doctor." is more often heard than "Be a good follower of Christ." Because of this kind of environment and philosophy, we have put all our hopes on our careers. We have come to believe that having a successful career would automatically bring us joy and fulfillment.
Having a successful career is not the end goal of our life. It is just a part of it. God created us with a certain purpose in mind. Each and one of us have a certain role to play in His great drama titled "Life." Our vocation is finding that purpose, discovering that role. Only when we realize and live that purpose, that role, can we find true fulfillment and joy.
A fish is happy when it swims. A bird is happy when it flies. They are happy because they doing what they are created to do.
A fish out of water is an unhappy fish. A person who is not living his vocation is an unhappy person.
"In His will is our peace." - Dante Alighieri
Discerning God's calling to our lives should be our priority. It is our priority simply because we want to be happy, we want to be fulfilled. To delay is to postpone joy and fulfillment.
No more excuses!
